SPACETOGIVE UNIQUE PROGRAMS

In order to fulfill its vision and mission, and to succeed transformation goal, SPACETIGIVE chooses 3 core programs. These are unique and embed entirely into the vision and mission our SPACETOGIVE. Before we explain them fully, first we need to provide information about sponsorship. In the context of SPACETOGIVE approach, sponsorship means a way to bridge someone (a giver) to another one (a recipient). Surely in here, the gift is money (yet, it is not limited on money alone). In order to make this bridge philosophy succeeds, we formulate one-to-one sponsorship approach. It means that one recipient is supported by one sponsor (in reality one sponsor does not mean one person or one individual). The importance of having this principle: one-to-one sponsorship.

 These 3 programs are:

 1. SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM (SSP)

 The program is intended mainly to support children that are registered in a formal school. The program is addressed for children at ages 6-18, both woman and man. Why these ages? The reason is that these ages are the most significant ages in the school. In all over the world, the stages of someone get in a formal school generally and universally starts at 6 years olds (first grade) and it ends at 18 years old. (We know that there are early education stages before someone gets 6 years old. However, these stages are not designed for real school, yet merely a place to play and interact for stimulating development in the life of a kid. It means that actually first grade of school is the real ‘jungle’ of formal or compulsory school.

 Why mobilizing sponsorship program for school children? School is very important for everybody. Without school, a person cannot become an engineer, a medical doctor, a teacher and all profession. Also, without school someone will not be able to read, to understand science and natural phenomenon and in turn he or she will totally be blind (it is not physical blindness). Hence, school is the basic need for human being, no matter what is his or her culture, religion background, skin color, and so on. (surely it is basic need in the context of our core program not as generally in human life, which is actually food, cloth, and house are the most basic needs). We are not talking about sequential need in this time, yet we want to express boldly that school sponsorship is the first program to develop for transformation.

2. MICRO BUSINESS PROGRAM (MBP)

This is the second program of our core programs. The program is intended mainly to support people of business. Surely this is not big or multinational business. Yet, this is promising effort from people that do not want to give on life. Life must go on, though they are difficult getting certain and secure job. The only way to continue their life is by setting up a small business. We then support them with monthly support mainly for training program that enable them running and operating the business better. Besides that we also support them with special developmental program that will bring transformation in the life of the those small business people twice a year. We also encourage those who are registered in the Small Business Program to have an enhancement program that happens at least once in a year through an additional proposal.

Why Supporting Small Business People?

The biggest asset for someone in economy matter is his or her willingness to work. But the work should result in money value so that economically a person is able to sustain his or her life. However, getting an appropriate job, somehow is very difficult and disappointing in a developing country. Hence, if someone is willing to work by creating his or her initiative in business, we really appreciate that by giving support. This kind of support is convicted as a better way to succeed their effort.

3. CHANGE LIFE PROGRAM

This is the third program of SPACETOGIVE. The third does not mean the last and insignificance program. Change Life Program is designed in such a way to support the life of people, from children through adult ages, that having physical illnesses or disabilities. These will include blind people, cleft people, illnesses of Tuberculosis, and epileptic (these are the first categories we are helping, yet in the future we are opened to extend the categories). We believe that those people deserve to better life and enjoy life as proper as normal people. We have no doubt that those people are capable to compete with other people significantly if given the same chance and support. That is why we call this program as CHANGE LIFE PROGRAM, instead of for example: Disable People Program. They are able to change! We then support them with monthly support for transformational programs that enable them facing life properly for any life’s goal and future. Besides that we also support them with special developmental program that will bring deep self esteem and self confidence in the life of the these kind of people twice a year. We also encourage them to have an enhancement program that happens at least once in a year through an additional proposal.

Why Supporting in Change Life Program?

Every people is equal, in economy matter. Life is created by the supreme God and assigned it in an individual. When then, physically this person is physically disable or gets illnesses, we believe that it does not mean this person is useless or nothing.
